Fight In Car Leads To Man Being Shot in Abdomen in Macon

MACON, Ga – Bibb County Deputies are investigating a shooting that injured a man in Macon Sunday night.

Deputies say it happened on Houston Avenue near Villa Crest Avenue just after 7:30 p.m. Deputies say there was a fight inside a small, white Chevy four door sedan. During the the fight, 19 year old Dequavia Bernard Pollard got out of the car and multiple shots were fired. Pollard was hit once in the abdomen. He was taken to Medical Center, Navicent Health and is in stable condition. No one else was injured and deputies do not have any information on a suspect at this time.
