Deputies Looking For Man Who Tried Robbing An AutoZone

MACON, Ga – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an attempted armed robbery. Deputies say it happened at the AutoZone on Vineville Avenue in Macon around 6:40 Monday night.

Deputies say a man entered the store with a handgun and demanded money from the clerk. The clerk realized the gun was fake and told the man ”you’re not going to rob me with that plastic gun”.

Deputies say the man ran out of the store without getting any money.

Deputies say the man was wearing all black clothes and had a skeleton mask over his face.
