Two Men Wanted For Armed Robbery At Family Dollar

MACON, Ga – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is looking for two men wanted for an armed robbery at a Family Dollar in Macon. Deputies say it happened at the Family Dollar at 4925 Bloomfield Road just before 9 Monday night.

Deputies say the two men entered the store, one of them had a handgun. They demanded money from the cash registers. One of the men got some cash.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office reports that a deputy entered the store and noticed that cashiers had their hands in the air. The man who got some cash dropped it and ran from the store. The deputy chased after both men, but lost them in a wooded area behind the store. No one was injured during the robbery.

One of the men was wearing all black clothes, a black shirt over his head and white shoes.

The other man was also wearing black clothes.
