S.U.V and Car Crash, Sends Five People to the Hospital

MACON, Ga – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a traffic accident that happened just before six Monday night on Williamson Road in Macon.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, a Ford Expedition that was traveling east on Williamson Road lost control and hit a Kia Optima that was traveling west down Williamson Road. Deputies say five adults and an 11 year old were in the Ford Expedition and two adults and two children were in the Kia Optima.

All four passengers that were in the Kia were taken to Medical Center Navicent Health for their injuries. Deputies say they’re in critical, but stable condition. The 11 year old that was in the Ford Expedition was also taken to Medical Center Navicent Health. Deputies say the child is in critical condition.
