Man robbed and shot while walking dog in Macon mobile home park

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man was shot in the arm and then robbed while walking his dog at Skyview Mobile Home Park on Houston Avenue in Macon.

41-year-old Israel Sandoval was walking his dog Friday night when two men approached him and demanded money. One of the suspects fired his gun, hitting Sandoval in the arm, during a struggle.

The robbers took Sandoval’s money, his cell phone, and then ran away.

Sandoval was taken to the Medical Center, Navicent Health for treatment.
