20th annual Fired Works Ceramic Festival now open in Macon

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The 20th annual Fired Works Ceramic Festival is now underway at the Round Building in Carolyn Crayton Park.

The 10-day festival runs through Saturday and features thousands of functional and decorative pottery pieces, according to Julie Wilkerson, executive director of the Macon Arts Alliance.

Wilkerson said items start as low as $5, with all artwork created by local and regional master potters.

The event is open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
