Man shot at Rutland Place Apartments in Macon

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man is recovering at the hospital after being shot Tuesday night.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says it happened just after 10:30 PM at the Rutland Place Apartments at 5577 Houston Road.

It was reported that 22-year-old Kibwe Troupe stepped outside of his apartment and people inside heard gunshots. Someone from inside went outside to check and found that Troupe was shot. He was brought inside the apartment and 911 was called.

Troupe is at Navicent Health and is in stable condition.
