20-Year-Old Shot and Killed in Cochran

A shooting in Cochran takes the life of a 20 year old.  Cochran Police Chief Jim Sanders says 31-year-old Terry Blue shot Sadavian Vent in the chest early Wednesday morning at the Happy Hill Homes. 

Police were called to the Bleckley Memorial Hospital where Vent was being treated for a gun shot wound.  He was transported to a Macon hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after.

The GBI tells 41NBC Blue has been arrested and charged with murder and discharge of a gun near a public highway or street.

The GBI isn’t releasing any further information at this time since this is an ongoing investigation.
