2 Year Old Unattended in Bathtub Dies

A 2-year-old girl from Bonaire has died after being found face down in the bathtub.

 Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones says 2-year-old Nellie Fox was pronounced dead Monday afternoon at the hospital. Jones says the little girl was found at a home on “Alder Way” face down in the tub after her mother left her alone for a few minutes. Houston County Sheriff’s Capt. Randall Banks says the preliminary investigative findings are that the 2-year-old was in the tub with a sibling when the mother stepped out of the bathroom.
