2 juveniles arrested, accused of breaking into home
Dispatchers stated the caller saw two people attempting to break into a home through a window, and they also tried to get inside a nearby vehicle.

CORDELE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Two 15-year-olds are in custody, accused of attempting to break into a car and then breaking into a home on Tuesday.
According to the Cordele Police Department, officers responded to the 500 block of N. 2nd St. in reference to a burglary in progress around 4:30 a.m.
Dispatchers stated the caller saw two people attempting to break into a home through a window, and they also tried to get inside a nearby vehicle.
When arriving on scene, officers say they discovered an open window and an air conditioner on the ground. The officers then went inside the home and found the juveniles hiding inside a closet. They say the juveniles were in possession of large screwdrivers and a multi tool.
The homeowner was not in the home at the time.
Both juveniles are charged with Burglary in the 1st degree and possession of tools for the commission of a crime. The Department of Juvenile Justice was notified, and both juveniles were taken to a youth detention facility in Savannah.
