17-Year-Old Shot in West Bibb County

Macon police are investigating an aggravated assault from the weekend.

Early Sunday morning, around 4A.M. officers responded to a report of a person shot and a possible burglary off of Hightower Road.

The victim is a 17-year-old male who gave officers conflicting stories about what happened during the shooting. He was treated and released for a gunshot wound to the chest.
