MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The 16th annual Boutique Warehouse Sale is set for Saturday, January 25 from 9 a.m. to 2 p-m at the Rescue Mission of Middle Georgia Dining Hall.

Early entry donation shopping starts at 8 a.m.

Each year, 11 boutiques are offered the opportunity to be a part of the sale, allowing them to reach thousands of customers in one day.

The owner of BB & Bernie, Julie Evans, says the goal is for boutiques to clear out excess inventory in order to keep things fresh and new in their stores.

“It’s a huge sale,” Evans said. “Items will start at $10, and the items are up to 90% off, so that is a huge savings for our customers.”

Evans says this event not only benefits boutique owners, but also the community.

“You can get in early with a monetary donation to the rescue mission, and the other way the rescue mission will benefit is at the end of the sale, most every boutique donates lots and lots of apparel that we just want to clear out and that also the rescue mission can benefit from.”

Evans says their main goal is to continue to provide shoppers with the freshest merchandise.

“I know a lot of my customers shop all of these boutiques, or at least some of them,” she said. “So it’s also a good way for a business, and anybody who hasn’t shopped at any of these businesses, to get an idea of what each boutique has, and we all have different and unique things.”

The Rescue Mission Dining Hall is located at 6601 Zebulon Road in Macon. Click here for more information.
