10th Annual Locks of Love and Wigs for Kids Event
WARNER ROBINS , Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- Some Warner Robins High School students gave a special donation to those in need this afternoon. Warner Robins High hosted its 10th Annual Locks of Love and Wigs for Kids Event. The non-profit organizations, Locks of Love and Wigs for Kids, help provide hair pieces or wigs to assist children and teens who suffer from hair loss due to cancer or other illnesses. Several students participated in this year’s event.
“I adore children, like, so much. And I know some one that passed away from cancer, so it just feels good to help,” said Warner Robins High School Student Shantee Watts.
Hair that was donated will be used to create high-quality hair wigs to help restore self-esteem and confidence.
