$100,000 Worth of Cocaine Discovered, Macon Woman Arrested

20 year old Tameka Ann Griffin of Macon is charged with trafficking cocaine today.  She was arrested after a Bibb County deputy pulled her over in a traffic stop for driving erratically on Thomaston Road.  Griffin was also driving with a suspended license.

Deputy Beverly Moore called drug investigators to the scene when several people walked up several times and asked if they could take the car.

Drug K-9 “Hexa” sniffed around the car and alerted deputies that drugs may be in the car.  They found 2 packages containing a total of 1 kilo of cocaine under the passenger’s seat of the car.

Griffin is at the Bibb County Jail without bond.
