Victim identified in latest homicide in Macon
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Macon-Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones says 53-year-old Michael Baxley is the victim in the town’s latest homicide.
Deputies say Baxley’s friend found the victim unresponsive inside the doorway of a home in the 4400 block of Pharr Avenue. That’s in West Macon near Columbus Road and Log Cabin Drive.
Jones says Baxley died from multiple gunshot wounds.
There are no suspects at this time.
Jones says this marks the 26th homicide for Macon-Bibb County.
