Deputies: Six vehicles broken into at Arkwright Road hotel in Macon

Deputies say six vehicles were targeted at a hotel on Arkwright Road early Monday.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb County deputies are investigating a series of vehicle break-ins reported early Monday morning at a hotel on Arkwright Road.

According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, the call came into the Macon-Bibb Emergency 911 Center at 4:48 a.m. reporting that six vehicles were broken into in the parking lot of the Country Inn and Suites.

Deputies responded to the scene, and the case has since been turned over to the Criminal Investigations Division.

The sheriff’s office did not disclose what was taken from the vehicles. The investigation remains ongoing.
