Warm, moist air is moving in across the southeast this evening with patchy dense fog forming through the area. This is all ahead of the cold front that will move through tomorrow afternoon.
Timing of Storms
A line of storms will move through the area, likely, sometime after 3 pm. Some of these storms could be strong to severe directly along the line. Main threats could be strong gusty winds, and possibly a brief spin up tornado. We will know more tomorrow ahead of the system.
Behind the cold front, cool air and high pressure will be building in across the southeast. We will see plenty of sunshine, but also a significant cool down. We will likely stay dry through Thursday night.
Through the end of the week, we will likely keep rain in the forecast. Temperatures will warm back into the 60’s through the end of the week and into the weekend.
