Less than two hours later, the sheriff’s office received a phone call about a possible murder at the same address as the house fire. Deputies issued a “Be on the Lookout” notice for the suspect and his vehicle.

The vehicle was found by Butts County deputies in Flovilla. A man with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head was inside.  His identity has not been confirmed, but investigators believe it’s 68-year-old Michael Taylor.

Deputies on the scene of the house fire recovered two bodies. The victims are believed to be 52-year-old Alicia Taylor, Micheal Taylor’s wife, and her son, 23-year-old Colton King.

All three bodies are being sent to the GBI Crime Lab for positive identification.
