MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Monday marked the first day of early voting in Macon-Bibb County.
The Board of Elections Office says a little more than 200 people came out today to cast their votes for Georgia Secretary of State and Public Service Commissioner.
Carolyn Glover was one of those people.
She says despite her recent foot surgery she had to get to the polls.
“As you can see or you might not see but I am handicapped at this time. That didn’t stop me from coming to vote and it shouldn’t stop you either,” she told 41NBC.
Early voting will go on until Friday. You can head cast your vote at the Board of Elections building anytime during their business hours from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.
Early voting in Monroe and Houston Counties will begin on Wednesday and go through Friday.
