MACON, Ga (41NBC/WMGT)- The weather is changing, leaves are falling which means fall has officially come to Middle Georgia. That also means its time for our favorite characters to come knocking on our doors. That’s right, Halloween is just around the corner and for those of you you can’t wait to take your little ones tricking or treating, listed below are fall events leading up to the big day as well as the day of Halloween.
Halloween Family fun Festival:
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Sheriff’s Outreach will be hosting this event on Wednesday, October 31st from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00pm at 2525 Pio Nono Ave. There will be food, carnival games, haunted houses, music, a costume contest, and much more. So come out and have fun with family and friends.
Byron’s Annual Nightmare on Main Street:
This event will take place on Wednesday, October 31, along Main Street in Byron.
This event will start at 5:30 p.m. with a costume contest, and trick or treating will start at 6:00 p.m. and end at 7:30 p.m. Food will also be available. For more information on this event click here.
Trick-or-Treating in Downtown Macon
On Halloween evening, Wednesday, October 31, Main Street Macon will host trick-or-treating in downtown Macon from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Thirty three businesses and organizations will open their doors to families with children and leashed pets in Macon’s Central Business District and pass out candy and dog treats.
Fall Festival and Trunk-or-Treat
United Community Church is holding a Fall Festival and Trunk-or-Treat on October 31st from 6:30pm – 8:30pm. The church is located at 2411 Heath Road in Macon.
