MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Macon man will spend the next 15 years in prison after going to a motel with the intent to have sex with a 15-year-old girl in March of 2015.
Toney Mac Quesenberry, 28, was found guilty by a jury on one count of computer pornography and child exploitation and one county of criminal attempt to commit a felony, according to the District Attorney’s Office.
Evidence showed Quesenberry responded to a Cragslist ad for sex with a 15-year-old girl and her mother. The ad was posted by undercover police officers as part of a sting operation, the District Attorney’s Office wrote in a news release. Quesenberry showed up to a motel where he expected to meet the girl and her mother but instead was arrested.
A Bibb County Superior Court judge sentenced him to 25 years, with 15 of them being spent in prison. Quesenberry must also register as a sex offender for life.
