MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A new restaurant that just opened in Macon is a complete Japanese experience. Sumo Steak & Sushi renovated a building off Riverside Drive and is ready for customers.
“Steak, shrimp, lobster, filet, anything you want you can get here,” Catherine Leverett, a server said.
The restaurant is complete with fun colors and a decorated interior.
“I think it’s awesome, I actually stopped by a few months ago to see the renovations,” Leverett said. “I remember the old location so it was definitely uplifting and nice to see the change and definitely positive things to come with the new changes.”
The decor is new, but it’s the food that makes Sumo Steak & Sushi special.
“It is a new take on the entrees and hibachi. The food is extremely fresh I’m actually eating lunch right now and trying some new things and enjoying them so definitely the quality is excellent and the plate presentation is amazing here which goes along way in my opinion for your eating enjoyment,” Leverett said.
And most importantly, Sumo Steak & Sushi has a perfect health inspection score.
