MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Ballard-Hudson Middle School student will face charges after a student was stabbed at the West Macon school last week.
According to an incident report, the student was taken to the Macon Regional Youth Detention Center and booked on aggravated assault charges.
Last Tuesday, the district said a student was stabbed by another student in the back and the chest while classes were changing.
Police say the student charged in the incident admitted to taking out a pocket knife and stabbing the victim three times.
The 15-year-old student was taken to the hospital and was listed in stable condition.
