WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Santa Claus came to town a little earlier this year. He made an appearance at the Christmas in July Fest in Warner Robins Thursday afternoon.
The Robins Regional Chamber hosted the event for the first time ever, along with the Warner Robins Police Department. They brought out their families for food, music and bounce houses.
This was a kick-off to the chamber’s Christmas parade in December. President/CEO of Robins Regional Chamber, April Bragg announced this year’s theme.
“In honor of our 60th anniversary is a classic Christmas,” said Bragg. “Celebrating the best of the fifties and sixties, with everything from classic cars, to oldies music blasting out and really slowing things down and turning the pages of time back a little bit.”
The Christmas parade is the first Saturday of December. Bragg says she wanted to involve the police department today for their extensive work during the parade in the past.
