Background

Coreen Savitski has been with 41 NBC since September 2007. She feels lucky to call such a kind and warm community her new home! As a Rockford, Illinois native, Coreen knew she had a passion for television news even at a young age. She pursued her goals while attending Columbia College Chicago as a Broadcast/Journalism student. Coreen gained a great deal of her experience while reporting for college and local level stations. She's covered topics ranging from state elections to baseball games. Coreen interned in London at CNBC Europe and was employed as a production assistant at FOX Chicago-WFLD Coreen says her favorite part about being a reporter is that there's always someone to talk to. She believes everyone has a story to tell. When Coreen isn't working, you can find her with her Yorkie "Holly" or enjoying the outdoors.
