This morning will feature warm air with temps in the upper 60s & 70s this mid-morning. Skies should be mostly clear with an increase in winds compliments of Hurricane Earl, which is only about 700 miles to our east-southeast. We're also tracking a cold front racing towards our area and it could bring a very slight chance for a shower come your Friday. Overnight you should notice mostly clear skies with evening lows in the mid 60s.

We'll call it a “cool” and comfortable start to your Wednesday morning. You may be able to crack the window on your drive in to work this morning. We're looking for the thermometer to hit the 90 + degree mark this afternoon with just a few passing clouds by midday and into this evening. Expect another relatively “cool” overnight into Thursday morning with temps in the mid 60s. Compliments of Hurricane Earl, we'll hold on to a chance for a stray shower Thursday & Friday with increasing clouds.

Earl on course toward US East Coast after battering Caribbean

blip:

The National Hurricane Center says it's too soon to predict what effect Hurricane Earl will have on the U.S.

Forecasters say that the Category 4 storm will at least kick up dangerous rip currents.

Earl could brush the East Coast but forecsters say a slight change in direction could bring landfall. Coastal residents from North Carolina to Maine are being urged to monitor storm reports closely.

Earlier, the storm battered the northeastern Caribbean, but there are no reports of casualties.

New Farmers Market for Warner Robins

Business owners are hoping a new farmers market will bring more people to the unofficial Warner Robins downtown.

This summer a group started the International City Farmers Market. Every Thursday evening from to 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. local growers and bakers come out to sell their produce and products.

The event is growing as more people come out to sell and buy.
