Young Life Students Head to Frontier Ranch

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Young Life in Macon is raising money for more than 150 kids to attend a Christian camp at Frontier Ranch in Bueno Vista, Colorado on June 22nd-28th.

Young Life is a non-profit, Christian organization aiming to build relationships with high school students.

The cost for the week-long trip is about $1,000 dollars, but the group is raising $7,000 to lower the cost to $750 to make it affordable for students.

Trip leader and area director, John Sharp says "the kids will learn how to get away from the pressures of everyday life, have fun with friends and their Young Life leaders, and hear the message of God's love for them."

He adds it's a pivotal week in their growth and development and faith.
