Vonage to move Atlanta office to suburb

Cobb County officials say a communications firm will move its midtown Atlanta office to the county northwest of Atlanta.

MARIETTA, Ga. (AP) — Cobb County officials say a communications firm will move its midtown Atlanta office to the county northwest of Atlanta.

Cobb County Chairman Tim Lee says Vonage Business Solutions will move the office later this summer.

The Marietta Daily Journal reports (http://bit.ly/VHovo2) that the Vonage workers will move into an 80,000-square-foot space in the Towers at Wildwood Plaza.

The new suburban site is on Windy Hill Road in the Cumberland area, the same general area where the Atlanta Braves are building a new stadium.

Lee said the Vonage jobs are a mix of $40,000-salary sales jobs and $100,000-salary IT positions.

Vonage is based in Holmdel Township, New Jersey.
