Michelle Nunn makes a stop in Macon to talk with her supporters.
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) - United States Senate candidate Michelle Nunn stopped in Middle Georgia Friday to visit with her supporters at a phone bank in downtown Macon.

Nunn is one of four Democrats running for the seat open after incumbent Saxby Chambliss decided not to seek another term. She told 41NBC that one person can make a difference in Congress, and hopes that the voters agree.

"I think all of us know, whether working in the church or business or schools, that leadership matters," Nunn said, "The composition of who we send to Washington will make a difference to the decisions and issues we address as a country."

Nunn will make another campaign stop in Macon on Monday.

There are seven Republicans also running for U.S. Senate.

The primary election is Tuesday, May 20th.
