Traffic stop leads to drug bust

Traffic stop by Monroe County deputies leads to the arrest of 37 year-old Lucas Michael Johnson.
FORSYTH, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) - Monroe County deputies arrested and charged a Florida man with possession of drugs and intent to distribute.

According to a news release, deputies pulled over 37-year-old Lucas Michael Johnson near mile marker 191 on interstate-75 North for following to close to another vehicle.

Deputies searched Johnson's vehicle and found a small amount of heroin, two to three pounds of marijuana and $100,130.00 in cash.

He was taken to the Monroe County jail

Johnson has several previous drug charges in Florida, Kansas and New York.
