Tornado threat for Middle Georgia Tuesday and Wednesday

Clouds and moisture are moving in for now, storms by tomorrow.
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) - Clouds and moisture are moving into the area this afternoon.  For most of us it's been a pretty nice day, but that will change in a big way starting tomorrow.

The storm system responsible for the upcoming severe weather is moving very slowly in the plains states.  There are storms already producing tornadoes out in Mississippi and Alabama today after some hit Arkansas yesterday.

Now, let me stress, the biggest threat for tornadoes will stay out west, but we DO have a chance to see some tornadoes starting on Tuesday and possible Wednesday.

Large hail and damaging wind gusts are very possible with the severe weather both Tuesday and Wednesday.

Temperatures will continue to be near 80 degrees for Tuesday and Wednesday.
