Three Warner Robins teens charged with carrying gun underage

Three Warner Robins teens were charged with possession of a firearm under 18 after witnesses reported shots were fired in a park near Orchard Way.
WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) -- Three Warner Robins teens are facing charges after shots were reportedly fired in a park Thursday afternoon.

According to a news release from the WRPD, police were called out to 301 Orchard Way in response to gun shots fired.

Witnesses told police there was a group of people in a nearby park, and they heard gunshots.

17-year-old Damrea Anderson was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm under 18 and reckless conduct. Witnesses identified him as the shooter, and police found a gun in his book bag.

Two others, 17-year-old Deron Williams and a 16-year-old boy were arrested and charged with possession of a firearm under 18 and party to the Crime of Reckless Conduct.

No injuries were reported.
