MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) -- The magic of Studio41 traveled to Nashville, Tennessee to check out the city that is now home to many country music legends who got their start in middle Georgia. Over the next few weeks, Daybreak will highlight some of the artists out of the Gibson Showroom. This week we introduce you to Georgia native, J.P. Williams.
J.P. Williams is an award-winning singer-songwriter based in Nashville, Tennessee. He's signed to renowned publisher Major Bob Music where he shares the roster with the likes of Garth Brooks and The Band Perry. J.P.'s song "Never Walk Alone," recorded by Brian Free & Assurance, topped the Southern Gospel charts at No. 1. As an artist, he's played everywhere from the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. and colleges throughout the Northeast U.S. to pubs in Ireland on assignment for Budget Travel Magazine.
