Perdue thinks business experience will help him get to D.C.

David Perdue greeted supporters on Monday and believes he is the best person for the job.
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) - Businessman David Perdue stopped in Macon bright and early to rally his supporters one last time before they head to the polls.

He says he's on a mission to bring his business background to D.C. and believes his resume can help put the country on the right track.

"I think there are two things that we need to do. One is cut the insane spending in Washington, and there are plenty of opportunities to do that. The second thing is to get this economy growing again. I just think that we have the lowest number of people as a percentage in the workforce working now that we've had since 1978 and there's no need for it," Kingston said.

Perdue adds the country needs to address its tax issues and work on giving more incentives to small businesses.
