Peach County's Chavis Dickey Leaving Fort Valley for Orlando

FORT VALLEY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) - It was a bit of a down year for Peach County in 2013---if you can call an 8-4 season a down year--but they're still sending three guys to college.

Offensive lineman Chavis Dickey leads the bunch.  He's heading to our Amanda Castro's alma mater, the University of Central Florida.

Wide receiver Tyler Gibson is heading to Coffeyville Community College in Kansas, and quarterback Greg Williams will play for the Valdosta State Blazers.

"Any time you lose your quarterback and you lose your best offensive lineman from the past couple of years, we'll miss them extremely," coach Chad Campbell says.  "Tyler has been a good receiver for us. He made a bunch of plays for us this year."

We also talked with Dickey's parents about him moving from Fort Valley to Orlando.  They say they like the dorm set up at the school and they think he will be just fine.
