GRAY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) -- Jones County investigators arrested and charged a Monroe County man for selling meth.
A news release from Jones County Lieutenant Jimmy Black says 52-year-old Roy Roger Rivers of High Falls was arrested and charged with trafficking in methamphetamine on May 21st.
Investigators seized about six ounces of methamphetamine valued at more than $7000 during the investigation.
The arrest comes after a joint investigation by the Jones and Monroe County Sheriff's Offices.
Rivers also faces charges in Monroe County. He is being held in the Jones County jail. No bond has been set.
