Man shot at Warner Robins home

A Warner Robins was shot early Monday morning at his residence. Police are investigating.
WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Warner Robins Police is investigating an aggravated assault incident that happened Monday morning at 12:35 a.m. on the 200 block of Orchard Way.

Officers were told that 22-year old Corey Landry of Warner Robins had been shot.
Police say Landry was standing near the doorway of his home when he was shot in the right leg.

He was taken to the Medical Center of Central Georgia where his injuries are non-life threatening.

"Landry underwent surgery this morning and is still currently listed in stable condition," said Warner Robins Police spokesperson, Tabitha Clark.

Neighbors told 41NBC they suspect the shooting was between gang rivals, known as the "New Orleans Boys" and the "Warner Robins Boys".
However Warner Robins police say it is too early in their investigation to determine if gangs were involved in the shooting.

"At this point in the investigation it does not seem likely," added Clark.

Anyone with any information is asked to call the Warner Robins Police Department at (478) 302-5380.
