The Emeroles are headed to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue to spend their Easter weekend with the first family.
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) - One Macon family will be celebrating the Easter Weekend, at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington D.C.

The Emeroles  were selected as part of a drawing to participate in the annual Easter egg roll at the White House.

The family says they're happy to be heading on the trip and even more excited to have the opportunity of a lifetime to meet the first family.

"Them having an opportunity to, during this time, when there is a President that looks like them. I just think wow, and it's a story that we'll be able to share with my grand kids, their kids," Andrea Emerole said.

Her kids Obi and Nnamdi, were just as excited.

"But at the same time, I'm a little nervous. I don't I guess, I'm just nervous," Obi and Nnamdi said.

The Emeroles are already in DC. They'll get an opportunity to tour the Capitol building, and the White House. The actual Easter Egg roll is on Monday.
