The U.S. Representative for Georgia's first district made a stop in Macon Friday to announce an endorsement from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

While in town, Kingston talked about his plan of action called the American renewal initiative.

It's three main points are strong national defense, fiscal responsibility, and an increase in jobs.

"It is the lead job advocate for the united states of America and as somebody who was in the private sector myself I've taken my business experience and I've taken it to Washington to pushed back on the government over reach in the regulatory environment that is killing private sector job creation," Kingston said.

The primary elections to fill the U-S Senate seat after Saxby Chambliss steps down are on May 20th.
