MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) -- All year long Jay's Hope Foundation works to raise childhood cancer awareness around middle Georgia. October is no exception for the group. Christie Johnson stopped by Daybreak to share details on the upcoming Trek or Treat event for the entire family.
Trek or Treat includes a 5K and a "Candy Mile" where children can trick-or-treat in costume along the route. Also this year, is the Howl-O-Ween pet parade for dogs to dress up in costume and walk alongside their owners.
Trek or Treat is Saturday, October 26 at Bass Pro Shops in Macon. For more information, visit www.jayshope.org.
