WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) - Feagin Mill Middle School is only one of three schools in Georgia and 63 schools nationwide to be recognized as a "Green Ribbon School".
Students at Feagin Mill Middle started a Biggest Loser competition. They raised enough money recycling to buy new technology for the classrooms.
Computer science teacher Bobby Lewis worked with his students to put together several projects for the program including learning about endangered species and developing new ways to recycle.
Lewis' students worked to inspire the entire school to eat right, recycle and take care of the environment. This past year, students recycled more than 2,000 pounds of ink cartridges and cell phones.
