ATLANTA (AP) — Augusta business owner Don Grantham has been elected chair of the State Transportation Board, which oversees the Georgia Department of Transportation.
The Augusta Chronicle reports (http://bit.ly/1pquPvR ) Grantham previously served as vice chair and will replace outgoing Chairman Jay Shaw.
Grantham is a former member of the Augusta Commission. The 14 members of the State Transportation Board serve one-year terms.
Emily Dunn of Blue Ridge was elected vice chair.
