Cadette Girl Scout Karrington Floyd from Troop 60207 in Fort Valley and Pamela Rugen from Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia stopped by 41 Today to talk about cookie season and the organization.
Girl Scouts of USA was founded in 1912 in Savannah. The organization has 3.2 million girl and adult members worldwide. Girl Scouts is the leading authority on girls' healthy development, and builds girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place.
Cookie booths will be in front of your grocery stores, Wal-Mart, dollar stores, and more businesses around the area until March 9. Each box is $4. All proceeds from the Girl Scout Cookie Program support Girl Scouts here in Georgia.
