Georgia advances to Little League Softball World Series

Pioneer Little League came back from the loser's bracket to win the Southeastern Region Softball Tournament and advance to the Little League Softball World Series in Portland, Oregon.
WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) - Team Georgia had to win twice Monday to advance to the Little League Softball World Series.

Playing from the loser's bracket, the girls from Pioneer Little League in Columbus did just that, knocking off unbeaten Virginia twice in the finals, 7-6 and 8-2, to advance to next week's World Series in Portland, Oregon.

Facing elimination, Georgia trailed 6-4 in the last frame of the first game but scored three runs to score the walk-off win.  In the second game, Georgia scored six runs in the first three innings.  The quick start was enough to propel the girls to victory.
