GBI investigating Bibb deputy-involved shooting

The Georgia Bureau of Investigations is investigating a Bibb County deputy involved shooting.
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) - The Georgia Bureau of Investigations is investigating a Bibb County deputy involved shooting. 

According to a news release from the Bibb Sheriff's Office, deputies received a burglary call at the 3000 block of Napier Avenue around 2:30 Friday morning.

Witnesses say two men wearing black clothing with white T-shirts around their heads were seen walking up to the store, The End Rail.

One was holding a gun.

When deputies arrived at the scene, the suspects sped off in a Golden Cadillac and deliberately came toward deputies at a high speed. 

Deputies then fired shots at the vehicle and chased after it. 

After a quick high speed chase, the suspects stopped the vehicle at Bailey Avenue and Columbus Road and ran away.

According to the GBI, investigators have the car in storage and will try to find leads based on it.
