ATLANTA (AP) — The Atlanta Fire Rescue Department will conduct a live burn training exercise at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
Officials say the Thursday training session will run from 8 a.m. to noon and is likely to cause heavy dark smoke that can be seen from the interstate.
Airport officials say the exercise is part of an annual certification program for airport rescue firefighters.
