Familiar face returns to Twiggs County for 2014

Dexter Copeland is in the Coaches' Corner to discuss his return to the Cobras.
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) - After spending the last four seasons with Baldwin County, Dexter Copeland returns to Twiggs County as their new head football coach for 2014. Copeland was with the school previously from 2001-2009, and now inherits a squad that only won 2 games in 2013.

It will be a challenge for Copeland to get his team a few more wins with only three starters coming back on offense, especially without a set quarterback. However, he feels he has two strong candidates battling it out at the position, "One is going to quarterback, one will play tight end... it's been a great battle for both of those guys."

Four starters will be back on defense, on a squad that will rely heavily on LB C.J. Morse and LB Chris Marcus.

Twiggs County's first game will be on September 5th versus East Laurens.
