Cutright wins prestigious PGA award

PGA Master Professional Ray Cutright, in his 21st season at Idle Hour Club in Macon, Georgia, has been named recipient of the 2014 PGA Golf Professional of the Year, the highest annual honor given to a PGA of America Professional.
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) - Ray Cutright, PGA Master Professional in his 21st season at Idle Hour Club, has been named recipient of the 2014 PGA Golf Professional of the year.  It's the highest annual honor given to a PGA of America Professional.

The 63-year-old will be honored in a ceremony Thursday, November 20, along with the rest of he 2014 PGA of America national awards class.  The event will be held in conjuction with the 98th PGA Annual Meeting in Indianapolis.

Cutright is the third member of the Georgia PGA Section to win this award.
