Crimestoppers reward increases to catch Centerville armed robber

A reward offered by Macon Regional Crimestoppers has risen to thousands of dollars.
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) -The reward money offered to help police capture a gunman wanted for shooting a Centerville convenience store clerk is now worth thousands of dollars.

Macon Regional Crimestoppers, Executive Director, Chris Paul says the reward money has risen from a $1,000 to $3,000.

The shooting happened on Feb. 13, of this year.

A man wearing a red bandana robbed Pure gas station at gun point. He demanded cash and then shot the Centerville store clerk in the face.

Anyone with information about the armed robbery is asked to call crimestoppers at 1-877-68-crime.
