Bibb Deputies: Woman Robbed While Walking Up Driveway

A woman walking up her driveway was robbed early Wednesday morning, that's according to the Bibb County Sheriff's Office.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A woman walking up her driveway was robbed early Wednesday morning, that's according to the Bibb County Sheriff's Office.

Bibb deputies say the armed robbery happened around 3:15 a.m. at 866 Prince Street The sheriff's office says the suspect approached the victim and pointed a small caliber handgun at her. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash and drove off in an older green or black Toyota Camry.

The last thing you expect when you're getting ready to walk inside your house from outside is a man dressed in all black waving a gun in your face. 

The nightmare became a reality for one Macon woman early Wednesday morning after getting home from a club. 

41NBC spoke with the victim, who didn't want to go on camera because of her bruises, about the attack. 

"He came out of nowhere and rushed up on me, and had a gun in his hand. He told me to get down, I tried to buck at first, but I was like it ain't worth my life," the victim said. 

Now the Bibb County Sheriff's Office is investigating. 

"He drug me in front of the trucks so if you were to look out of the window, you can hardly see what was  going on," the victim said. 

"He had a gun in my face and my nose was bleeding, busted my lip, and he drug me, I've got scratches all on my back."

"He was like that's all you got in your pocket. So he went on took my two rings, my watch, then he went in my back pocket took my wallet and took like $700 and then hopped in the car and pulled off," she said. 

According to a sheriff's report, the suspect got away along with a getaway in a dark green Toyota Camry. 

"I'm from over here, I pretty much know everybody. I don't think it was anybody from over here," she said. 

An unknown mystery, the victim just wants answers to. 

Deputies say the suspect is male, 5'10” and weighs 150 pounds. He was wearing all black and had a ski mask covering his face.
